This site has tons of
pictures that gives ideas for classroom and center set-up. The site
also includes thematic units, a sample full day schedule, and other

Dr. Jean Feldman:
Dr. Jean is my FAVORITE children's musician. If you get the
opportunity to go to one of her workshops, GO! Her site offers
workshop information as well as lyrics, activities, and the
opportunity to order tapes and cds. You can even print off FREE
books to go with her songs. |
The K Crew:
The K Crew offers great
ideas for literacy centers (including pictures and explanations of
what the children are doing). The site includes a full-day
Kindergarten schedule and information on balanced literacy, shared
reading and shared writing. There are also good thematic unit
ideas! |

Kindergarten:
This website, created by
Kindergarten teacher Janet Bowland, has a teacher page with photos
of ideas that she uses in her classroom. I especially enjoyed the
pictures of her learning centers! The site also includes a parent's

This
comprehensive site was created by early childhood teacher, Victoria
Smith. She has a TON of ideas, including theme ideas, top ten
resource books, links to great sites, literacy centers, writing
workshop, family math, and much more! It is one of my favorite
places on the internet! |

This is a great resource
for early childhood professionals. The site, created by resource
teacher, Cindy, includes ideas for children's literature, literacy
connections, ideas for bulletin boards and displays, and lots of
information about special education! Click on "Teachers Bookbag" to

Hubbard's
Cupboard:
Hubbard's Cupboard is
full of great ideas! The Family Involvement page has information on
take-home Literacy Kits, Literacy Projects, Family Nights, and ideas
for how families can work with their child at home. There are also
the staples from Kindergarten web sites, schedule, theme ideas, and
links to other resources. This is a site worth checking out! |

site has "nine months of theme", as well as kindergarten songs and
poems, a year long curriculum plan, and arts and crafts recipes. |
