An Interview with Mrs. Davis

Where do you live? Most of the time it feels like I live at school! I live in Sand Springs with my husband, Joe, and son, Alden. Alden is in the 5th grade.
Do you have any pets? I have 2 dogs and 1 cat. Casey is very old and blind. Patty hogs the covers. Hestia (the cat) likes to chase Patty around the house. I also have a red eared slider (turtle) at school.
What is your favorite grade? I love Kindergarten because I can see how the kids progress in one year!
What is your favorite book? Chicka chicka boom boom is my favorite picture book. The Ramona series by Beverly Cleary is my favorite chapter book.
What is your favorite color? As every one of my Kindergarten friends can tell you, my favorite color is purple!
What is your favorite candy? I love chocolate!
What is your favorite animal? Of course, I love my dogs and cat. My FAVORITE animal is a Polar Bear.
What is your favorite restaurant? I like to eat at Zio's (Italian) and at Panera Bread (bagels and sandwiches). I always order the same thing each time I go!
What is your favorite center? This one is tough. I have to pick the reading center because there are so many great books.
Why did you become a teacher? I had a lot of great teachers that made a difference in my life. I wanted to make a difference!
